Beyond the gate the path to the next gate

If you made past the moats and past the gates, then you had to climb up this steep incline. From the side walls the guards would poor hot oil, throw spears, and shoot arrows. If you made past this, just as you got to the top of the incline the guards would roll giant bolder down the incline.
